BMW XM vs Porsche’s Large SUV With Plug-In Hybrid Power
BMW will be revealing the Concept XM soon. However, there is no news yet. Surprisingly, the grapevine is abuzz with news about the upcoming model of Porsche. The manufacturer is believed to be working on a better and bigger SUV, a notch above the X5-sized Cayenne. A dealership of BMW Greensboro NC has let know that it will be in direct completion with BMW’s X7. However, this model is likely to feature a plug-in hybrid system too.
With no signs of an X7-PHEV for the time being, Zuffenhausen’s new auto will be gunning for XM. Porsche, in the meantime, will attempt to make its SUV bigger and bolder with the fun quotient being accentuated.
The diehard BMW fans are now anxiously contemplating XM’s seating that may include three rows. A similar thought is going around about the Porsche model too. Some of the selected dealers could check a sketch of the upcoming model. They agree that it will indeed have enough room to seat five comfortably with the possibility of accommodating one or two extra passengers. This news comes as a surprise. However, the word about this model being considerably bigger than Cayenne makes such speculation well justified.
The dealers offering BMW service Greensboro are looking forward to the debut of the Concept XM soon. The upcoming Porsche SUV is believed to have a sloping roof that is not unlike the rakish design of XM. BMW has not raised many eyebrows but it is Porsche that has dealers talking in hushed whispers. The design is termed as a most un-Porsche one. The flat rear coupled with a sloping roof makes it unlike its predecessors i.e. Cayenne or the smaller-sized Macan.
The most reputed dealers of Porsche believe that this UV will be first unveiled as a PHEV and expected to have superior performance. However, an all-electric version is expected to follow at a later date. Specs about its engine and power remain undisclosed as of now but the prospective users are all agog about its high power based on the images of Turbo GT.
